This blog is part of the assessments for a course in International Health (PH511- “Pathogens, Poverty and Populations”) offered by the Boston University School of Public Health Department of International Health. Most of the students in the course are undergraduate students at BU, with a few from BU Academy and from Boston College. Students will post on a subject of their choosing. Four teaching assistants are responsible for posting the blogs. Students are encouraged to comment on the postings and we hope to engender a lively debate about the main public health issues of our time. The overall responsible person for the course is Professor Susan Foster, sfosterATbu.edu.
